Silkroad: Will be very lucrative for a short time to the first group of people who successfully put up a high-rate PvP server (Not emulator.) that actually works that allows incentive to donate to the server. Then it will be forgotten as RF Online was, as well as Lineage II, and Cabal. It is outdated as an MMO, and not even a viable option as a cheap MMO. It's being used as a cash cow to those who are milking the niche group of SRO players, and that's shame.
So like I've said now on multiple forums to multiple private servers and emulators, (most of which I played on so don't think I'm sitting here QQ'ing, I put in the time to play these servers despite disagreeing with their tactics) there's a lot of intrigue and incentive in a high-rate server, and despite popular belief that it is impossible to make one. There's little change SRO needs besides that, and maybe some effort by GM's to make the server fun and enjoyable, for a short period of time. It'd run all other servers out of business and gravitate all remaining SRO players to the server including ISRO-faithful players. It would most likely quell all addiction that SRO players suffer from, as all possibilities would be explored in such a server.
Until then, Silkroad is: A means to an end. That end: Cash for the savvy few who are milking it from the same users, over and over again. Mini-JoyMax's they are.
Does that answer the Poll adequately or should I dumb it down a bit?
