Cabal Private Server Files/Guides

i have done all mentioned in the tutorials, but i dont have a config.ini file in the cabal folder

can u help me?

My server is online xD but i cant connect i think its the ports okay ill try it when my ports are on and than rocks the party xD

Okay Guys i hop eyou can help me i have make all so in tutorials and corect all mistakes who i made but why i cant connect server is online but cant connect and the server list IPs i have changed in Data ordner i have change the text and i have make a Config.INI but nothing go... but why? can anyone help me ... i am sure that i have make all right...

damn im freaking out -.- loaded the guides and centos... I got the VMWare Workstation 6.0.2 directly from VMWare.... and this freakin installation menu totally differs. The first menu which appears in my VM is a language selection, then a keyboard layout selection, after that he wants the information where the CentOS Install files are stored -.- the strange side of this is, that the installation went yesterday wonderfull at a friend of mine... the only thing which we had problems where the ip-configuration (We where in the same subnet and all but couldn't ping or reach each other).

Would somebody be so kind and upload a vmdk which has a installed CentOS 4.5? Would be really helpfull :) Cause im loosing atm my nerves :(:confused:

hab mal nen trace gemacht, wenn ich mich einloggen will, was er wegschickt.

zur info:

ip .28 ist der rechner, auf dem ich cabal zocken will
ip .26 ist der linux server auf dem der cabal server läuft
ip .25 wäre der windows 2003 server mit sql enterprise 2000

.26 und .25 laufen in einer vmware (das dürfte ja kein problem sein)
ports sind normalerweise offen und alle firewalls deaktiviert.

hab mal nen trace aufgesetzt wie gesagt.
kann mir wer sagen, was da schiefgelaufen ist?
er sagt falsche checksumme, aba wo kommt die her?
was ist da falsch?

the database server windows 2003 and the cabal server (linux) running both in virtual machines.
the ip for the databse server is .25 and the ip of the cabal server is .26.
.28 is my gaming computer where i want to play cabal

ports are also open:

can anybdy tell me the total size of the files needed??

gib mal komplette ip adresse + subnetzmaske her, eventuell liegen die beiden netze nicht inner selben range...


andere frage, von 25 auf 26 kannste pingen oder? auch von 26 zu 25? Auch von den beiden zu deinem Router und deinem Host PC (wo VMware läuft? ) wenn ja dann sollte es doch kein problem sein? Oder gab es irgendwelche fehlermeldungen im Bezug auf die Installation oder ähnliches?

give me your complete ip-adress and your subnetmask, could be that one of the both computer is in an another network...

the other question would be:
could you ping from 26 to 25 and back? Could both PCs also ping your router and your host pc (where vmware is running)? If yes then what is the problem? Or where there any errors during the installation?
