What I would love to see more integrated into the game is a party system more similar to World of Warcrafts. Party play is possible in Silkroad, but it feels so disjointed, espicially for chinese. The classes have little variation to allow for dps, healing, tanking etc. Europeans improved on that.

What I also like from WoW was professions which took you away from questing. Battlegrounds are also cool. Closest we have is Arenas, need to make people more aware of that.

Some people and I agree I like the new job system. There is no real attraction to it though, maybe increase in job profits would be beneficial.

Also yeah removal of academy, pointless feature really.

Chinese only server 60 cap / euro only server? I am not sure what the fascination about this is, would balancing fix this ideal?

The things which keeps me staying on silkroad is the unique roleplay and the massive pvp/wars.
Unfortunately today's silkroads servers are not as good as we all expect.
I tested hundreds of games around internet, and i gotta say that silkroad is one of the best game i've played.
Everything is unique... from the partymobs, partyplaying to massive wars, jobwars and uniques.
Also the great balance between classes is a good reason to make you play this game. Every class have their weakness, there are no op classes.

Too bad the pserver scene is almost dead due to this wave of new silkroad pservers comming day by day.
I trully miss old swsro/ecsro, and i will never forget the time and the fun i had in those two servers.

I don't think the free silks thing 'would work', a server can't maintain monthly costs on just good will from the owner. This is just fixed by the owner not being too greedy and allowing silk items through events and stuff like that, which would make it more fair. If they were decent like that and returned something back, they would make more money in the long term if they really wanted anyway.

Quality service will always get them more players. Not giving anything back and just money whoring won't last long, as we have seen before...

(I also heard a story about someone being a bit greedy, when they could of worked with a potentially experienced person.)

You got it. But i don't see anybody working on a server without the aim of a profit. Most are thinking about fame and become rich through this like Esro Admin.

If you will ever get a server, you will find out why they all go for profit.
Its like you see 100bucks on the ground and Instead of picking it, you keep walking.

The money u get from this bussines could be also used on inproving the server.

It's nice to make a bit of money for the persons efforts, but realistically it's not going to make a career for the person, they should just get a real job. It is only short term as well. Even Joymax / etc. are money whores.

If you enjoy the game and want to build a decent community a server can and will work.

Cus eckoro got the vsro files as many other noobs that doesn't even know how to set them up :((

There is few pservers that actually do that. Just like in other games, ppl that care are always on top, the greedy and non-expirienced either end's like ecsro and ani-wow or just give up.

1. making job system worth it.
2. never failing to +2 again (50 elixers shouldnt = to a +0 weapon on a private server)
3. never farm again -.-

no lvl restriction in pt is retarded, high lvl player plvl his noob chars & ksing all spots especially penon. Not to mention ppl multiclient from it & make server hard to login.

it's just stupid imo.

120 cap
exp higher than 50
sp 2x exp
unique spawns increased (maybe make new uniques)
gm making events
some gold to start (for buying pots and stuff)
allowed to bot
all dungeons,events,maps working
old job system
alchemy first try +5 and after +5 2x or 3x alchemy system
maybe a zone where you can kill people randomly and you get some exp/sp :D


idk i got lots of ideas but its just a dream that will never come true... its so sad that so many ppl by now got vsro files and none of them had made anything good out of them.

A server exactly like grindroad but with 110 cap NO 12D and server files not emu xD
I mean really, those guys had some good ideas...
That thing with the angels/devils or something like that was awesome...

Or it should be like all of alexandria is like job cave and you have to have a job suit to even go into alexandria, that would also be awesome (mass pvp in general would be awesome xD)
