Do you have KarasX2.dll in cabal folder? I had AV which said that KarasX2.dll is a virus and it always was deleting it automatically. So I changed it to NOD32 and now don't have any problems :)

Even if you turn off your AV, copy normal KarasX2.dll and start game?
