Wizard/cleric is a really nice build. You are able to 1 hit a lot of other builds. Downsize
is that you have low hp and defence, and try doing a 5 star trade with a bunch of
wizards. I don't think you would last long :P Chinese nuker does less dmg then a wizard, but with protector on it and wearing a shield, you last a lot longer. Don't know about the other builds. I heard Wizard/Warlock is also I nice build.

Gear talks indeed but when everyone has comparable gear there are still builds that will perform better, been discussing this for a long time what really is a good build in SRO no matter what gear.
There is an answer to that question, the answer comes from PicoMon or probably better known as death2all.
Players rather choose the simple known builds and don't like to mess up their str/int so they choose the safe way of pure, hybrid do pay off in the end of certain builds.

To translate this into normal language with the combination of hp, defense and max output damage you can get to a conclusion there are 3 to 5 exceptional builds in Silkroad, i figured out 1 of them trying hard to find out the other, its not easy but in the end its worth calculating some stuff.Quote:

Since there are multiple variables involve, you get a 3D graph. From there, you can calculate for each build of the Euro/Chinese, what combination of STR/INT ponts will maximize the damage output by using the differential to find the maxima. Or you can take the absolute maxima to get the highest dmg build, if you don't mind what build/class you'd like to play on. ;)

i think the best build is xbow, or hybrid str bow 3/1 i have a bower level 65 gap 9 and i can kill easy glaviers about my level :P

I know what is a hybrid -.-' , but hybrid int bowman isn't good, if you want to do a hybrid int you can make: sword protector or spear armor/protector.
