i have got some probs with the steps in my quote:
step 6: when i put root as password it sais: access denied for 'root'@'localhost'

step 12: the password and username ARE ALREADY ROOT

and the last step: when i click chanel server it registers and goes away......


plz help me i would be greatefull :(:(

I woudl love to help you here but the only server I could ever getup was the World server. Sorry.

Sorry. Not everything is gonna work. Private servers arn't worth it in the long run if your using a titan source or something along those lines though. So OdinMS source is probably your best choice.

great. where is this db stuff? i cant find it anywhere

ok nvm i got it. and uhh..why when i press all 3 by order nothing pops out?
and for java JDK, its impossible to download. can i use other java instead?

and also, i got a patcher when i ran localhost.exe . do i need a better localhost.exe or smth? and the login server keeps running down and down and down with the date, time net.sf.odinms.net.login.LoginWorker run

That means that it's probably a patcher for a version you don't have or something along those lines. secondly, most localhost are ggless so I don't see how that happened. Running the wrong one? thridly, you need that java. lastly, db is db.properties. If you really can't find it, try do a search.

Im having a problem. i know you sed to run Wamp Server but it still portrays the following error message:

"Could not connect to the specified instance

MySQL error 1045

Acess denied for user root@localhost' (using password: YES)

What should i do or check for?

i see.. i got another kind of java not JDK one. JDK is unavailable for download. mind sending me the file? and nope i didnt click wrongly for localhost.exe . should i redownload one? or do you mind sending me yours? my patcher always get stuck at creating base.wz so it should mean that its alr patched to latest version

uhh i the batch files cant find the main class for the world, login, and channel files

After restarting the whole procedure I now get a new problem when opening the first two batch files. It displays the message int he picture.

The thrid batch file pops up and leaves. When I click localhost after activating all three of them, nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: I forgot to write that it wont let me see the rest of the message( the part to the right)

when i launch the files world and login work but channel opens after awhile and then closes how do i solve it?

It keeps saying..
"Unable to connect to server"
Does anyone know how to fix this?
