ps: to answer your question basicly
every1 can say what they like , but you can use ANY client for ANY database
as long it contains the main core in it

to give a example
i ran the modified mannequeen version with a original client
but i could use it to with a modified client , as long it stays the mannequeen version

the main core is what is needed , the other parts can be added/deleted , but as usual , it create bugs for users who like to use there own client , so force users to use your own client and everything will be fine
