RFO CM Version speed "hack"

That shouldn't happen at all. Are you sure you had the correct address? Did it actually change your speed? I set it to 50 when i played around and it didn't hang. The only thing that should happen is some lag.

guys dont work for me when i use next scan CE crash
04/03/2008 21:33 edtexodus#19
That's odd. It takes a while on the first next scan, especially when you are low on ram and processing power. So maybe it was working but very slow and it looked like CE crashed.

can you simplfie it for me im a driver i got a wind soward so all i do is i un equipt it search for 0 then equipt it then search for 1 ??
04/04/2008 04:54 edtexodus#23
No idea how to make it even more simple....

As you can see in the item description of a wind weapon, it raises your speed by 1. So the value you want to find changes by 1 when you put it on or off. Makes sense, huh? And weather it is zero or not without wind weapon is determined, as i said in my first post, by the other speed modificating factors you might or might not have on your char. If you do not have any speed buff on you or any piece of armor that raises your speed, it is zero.

wat is the max speed we can get...? as I see no different betwen 8 and 50

:o

There seems to be a hard cap at around 6-8. So there realy is no difference at speeds above those numbers.

When I had my jetpack on, CE returned the number 8 as the speed so I guess it would be 8 as the max. I haven't tried higher than that. And is it normal that the memory address that designates speed changes from time to time (i.e. logging out and logging back in)? Sometimes I have to keep scanning for a new address because the old speed address isn't the same as before.

UPDATE

It does work with force range up to a value of 150.

is there no warning on your icon tray?
like 'memory too slow' or have you checked your usage memory before scanning? perhaps too much background applications, as there's nothing wrong.

-Open CE. Then attach to the rfonline.bin process.
-Equip a wind weapon. Dont buff any speed increasing skills/elems. And don't wear a ranger armor. Use force/melee or take all your armors off. Wind weapon increase 1.00 speed.
--Put :
Value : 1.00
Scan Type : Exact Value
Value Type : Float
Check Fast Scan (not recommended)
-Click First Scan. You should found too many results.
-Take your wind weapon off. Your speed will now become 0.00.
--Put :
Value : 0.00
Scan Type : Exact Value
Value Type : Float
-Click Next Scan. You should found few results. If you found only one result then you found it.

But if you haven't then repeat:
--Put :
Value : 1.00
Scan Type : Exact Value
Value Type : Float
-Click Next Scan. You should found it already.

Double click the result and edit the value to 4-8.
Check Frozen and there you go. Running like athlete.

Try the CE tutorial and I bet you will learn something.
Thanks EDTEXODUS for sharing these ideas.
