i personnely think if u want want to start a group hey by all means.
but i assume u willl be branching off of the work done now but when your group adds some to it are they concidering sharing back?

i find it agrivating when so many use others work and post it all over the net as there own.
which is most annoying cause if theres 50 diffrent versions floating around then theres a sh^t ton more issues with server compatability.

Personally I don't see why the 'private' dev forums are private.

I understand you dont want complete idiots like the ones you get on here who just fail to do anything for them selfs but you can ban people, delete posts, lock threads, edit posts the list goes on...

But each to their own...

At least this guy is keeping it public rather than hiding in the shadows. (so to speak)

Perhaps people have the wrong idea of what's going on in the private area. It's not like we have a completely working server that we aren't releasing just to be asses. There's a whole 6 topics in there and each one is basically saying what someone is working on and the progress of it. Once it is finished, it is released. The rest of the forums, anyone can sign up and see what is there. If you want to call that hiding in the shadows, go for it. I would say that if you want to continue this discussion, send me a PM but I had to disable them because of being flooded with questions by idiots that can't be bothered to read. I just really REALLY hate lazy people who expect everything handed to them. I have to deal with idiots like that all day long at work so the last thing I want to do is to deal with them at home too. I'm sure that because of that I've overlooked PMs from people who had something worthwhile to say.

well, ive shut down the forums, and im gonna ask if my friend wants to take over, i am going to iraq, i been called to duty in the us army reserves, Gl to you guys and hopefully theres some good progress when i come back in 10 months

Funny I thought you could control your own forums... I always thought that the whole purpose of having your own forum was to get rid of the spam/idiots, yes you can do it with not giving the link out but you can also do it by maintaining the forum (unlike the lazy mod/admins on here that only mod the links and give infractions for helping in this section) but I guess that seems a little too much for you guys so I'll just leave you's to it since you obviously don't want the 'decent' people to learn.

Who is stopping you from learning and contributing? Everything released there is released here. Most, if not all, information we learn is posted here as well, at least for now. And no one is stopping you from joining that site as far as I know. Did you bother to PM someone from the site asking for a link or doing a google search for it? It seems like you're waiting around for an invite but I don't think anyone wants to sort through this mess trying to locate the few posts that show that someone has a clue. With that, if you're still dead-set on us being asses, yes, it's time for you to move on.
