just wait sir, it will take a while to connect to the tor network.
connection speed depends on two things its location and internet speed. on my side when i first tried connecting it took me 10 minutes before it connected.

hmmm im using broadband(prepaid) and it doesnt drain my internet speed....:confused:
were you able to connect? if you were then just get your registration done and disconnect if it slows your connection to the internet... :)
PS: if you have problems in registration and you cant make tor work its better to just ask sir iScream to make you an account or other users here that are helps on registration.. :)

*try extracting tor to a usb device and execute tor there.... is the browser bundle the one you donwloaded sir? if it is you could try what i mentioned above.

Im really sorry sir but i cant give an advice on how to make ToR work for you if i didn't undergone a similar problem.. ill try looking at their site if there are users that had the same problem ill post again if i find any sollution to your problem.:)
