The rumor is you win money. You can't show any proves of this, so it's a rumor. And I dunno what the hell is this punkbuster, I'd never ever seen it.

Is 1 anticheat tool to detect and ban players using hacks. It will detect and log the player history (login account , ip , mac adress etc). If is something wrong this software kick or kickban the account using the hack.
They only did not implemented it yet because they need to fix some bugs first, or the result would be crashes ,lag and innocent people banned.
If you go to your nfsw game directory you will see there 1 punkbuster folder , but it is not active yet.
