com was because of the websites, free was for people trying to advertise free stuff on sites. www, http, freewebs and a bunch more were also placed on there. The filter is CaSe SeNsItIvE, so bitch got through, but Bitch didn't. There were many other words like that. For a complete list, check your ini folder for the chatfilter.ini folder, open it and you have a complete list of filtered words.

others will see you swear. Why? because
When u swear and the filter blocks it it replaces it with ************
But when you remove it it wont change ur text to ***********
so others will see it.

Easier way is to just adjust the file so you can still swear :) and can't see the newbie ass scammers tries :P

I also found out you can block players this way :)

Well, Even tho there is a filter, no filter is Perfect, this one actually is shitty, You can say cunt but can't say Cunt. And they blocked com (T_T) wich sucks since it means "wich" in my language.

i found that deleting the file itself can cause CO not to load up,
might just be me but meh
so i just deleted what was inside that file and it seems to work fine
tbh they didn't do a very good job on the chat filters u can still swear ever so easily xD
like they have "Dick" in the file, if you use a lower case "d" then it will allow you to swear
weird eh? :p

@David5646: It's technically not just client sided as it allows others to see you say the words...

actually, this is server sided, I deleted mine and my guildies were asking me how I bypassed the filter, so I told them since my server is full of botters and nobody cares.

Well i have already found a way to bypass it

First go into your Conquer ini folder (usually C:Program FilesConquer 2.0ini )

Then find the file ChatFilter.ini and delete it...

OR you can do it this way

Look through ChatFilter.ini and find the words you don't want to be blocked and delete them(open the ini files in notepad), But i recommend the first way alot faster and easier.

Warning!
Other people can see your cuss/swear words^^

There's Something you didnt Mention: If a GM see's you swear you WILL get banned for Conquer client File editing ;) So <Use At Your Own Risk>
