[Release] How to Packet Edit using a Virtual Machine

You also would need to have a good knowledge of iptables, or kernel modules if your router enables write access to it's firmware

Aww, my way was going to leave him looking at his router for DAYS.

Now you've posted that, he's going to post his router model, and ask (demand) that you do it for him.

Then, you'll have to troll him.

Look at the mess you made u.u

Normally, I wouldn't even bother responding to this due to the manner of your request but because of what I will say later in this post, I don't mind helping.

You didn't search hard enough. I wouldn't call you "noob", I'd call you a lazy ingrate. Next time you want to ask for help from people, try to show a little respect and you wouldn't have people thinking you're "noob".

And for the purpose of this post, rPE is worthless for packet editing. Packets are encrypted and I guess I hear mixed things about it being detected. Have fun.

And a Big Thanks for you mate! yeah im lazy i guess, and your search was more accurate then mine it seems. Once again, Thank you!

Now we need a guide on how to hook the Mabinogi Send()/Revc() API. This of course includes a fully functional PE with extensions and plug-in availability. Did I forget to mention it has to have a source code?

Though I honestly must ask, why exactly do you want to analyze encrypted packets?

PS: Kevsprk says 12.4% of his CPU cycle warriors will stop guarding his North Bridge to attack you all. The other 81.6% get to go to the bar and drink EAX like men.
03/20/2011 08:55 adam_j#23
Does Kev realise that isn't all of them? Or are the rest guarding the South Bridge?

Perhaps he is aware that he leaves 6% on the North Bridge, and this is just a plan to make all the foolish people who do not read a post fully, run to their CPU cycle related deaths?

Does he have any CPU cycle archers/gunners/artillery?

These are MUCH more important/interesting questions than about badly written packet editing method tutorials. (It took a couple of hours for someone with limited knowledge to set this up. Yet he made himself an account generator in Vbasic in a couple of minutes? wtf?)

And, what did that guy even search, if Check's search was more accurate...?

Was it perhaps:
"1337 PACKET EDITOR FOR TEH AWSUM MONIEZ AND ITEMS ON -servername-!!!!"
03/20/2011 12:37 Josephcheck#24
6% handle Chuck Norris of course. As for their speed, it's fast enough; they drive Ferraris. Anyways, IMHO it's good that a guide was posted in the sense that . . . a guide was posted. I just wanted to know why 'that' kind of guide.

Well, hopefully they don't break the hotels during their battle.

korea mabinogi server checks every packet

so it is not working
03/27/2011 10:57 adam_j#27
That is the downfall of a Nexon that cares.
04/25/2011 19:02 cloudkiller2006#28
i know this is kind-of a bump, but i was wondering...

is this method possible with 2 computers instead of with a virtual one?
(AOL, what i use to connect to mabi, BSOD's if i have anything that makes a virtual machine installed. yay vista xD)
04/25/2011 20:39 SSDarkLink#29
You cant use this method anymore I thought o.o, the packets are encrypted or some bs and you can only use it directly from like wpe or CE

Kay so I clicked the link for the VMware stuff, and it came up with a bunch of programs, which one do I download? I downloaded VMware vSphere, and it asks for my IP Adress or Name, and User Name and Password. What am I supposed to put there?
