dark tell me how that glitch works i mean wut should i do ?so i can try and help ppl

you used to be able to + items... and if they failed, you simply logged out and logged back in. The item would be where it was on the last attempt instead of going back to +0 where it was after failure and before you logged out. Make sense? Hope I didnt word that more confusing than it had to be lol. Anyways I dont think it works, unless it does work with 2.8.4 but I dont see why it would and not 2.8.2. I dont want to waste another 1.5 Mill getting a failure just to log back in and not have it be back to like +3. Let me know if you guys try it.

all you have to do is if you want the old files for this is download the gme and copy the files before updating it...that should work and the fortify bug was possible in 2.8.3 figured i'd mention that.

is 2.8.4 the one where the count diddnt go back down to 0 if it failed?

it doesnt work, i had to try it on 2.8.4 and failed again on a +4. relog and still it stayed at 0. I wasted a bunch of dil. SUCH a bummer, o well just a game I guess. Anyways I'd recommend u guys save your DIL. Unless ur gonna + to + knowing failures will go to 0. Goodluck :)

now the reason that it has to be the exact version for when we had this bug is... if u recall, the bug was not always there, it was actually *introduced* in one of the patches. (im not sure which one) and then it was fixed in the later patches. So if u tried it on a patch that was before this it would fail 100% for sure, but even if u got the right one, this is just a theory and theres no guarantee it will work.

i would have to say the safest way of testing this would be to argate an equipment that u were *already planning* on upgrading anyhow.

I dont think, I messed up on guessing the patches I tried it with, but yes I did do upgrades on equipment I wanted to + anyway. Just sucks failing so much at +4 LOL. I strongly feel they fixed the bug alltogether, but would be more than willing to accept myself being wrong if someone figures it out:D

has any one tried to use a uce to try and change the success rate percentage ?

Why make this so hard on yourselves, just open data.pak with hex editor find the fortification section and change all percentages to 99% you still could get unlucky and hit that 1% but chances are slim

I tried with an UCE but i dont get it to work.

ya, thats a lot easier said than done, for many reasons(reasons im not smart enough to go into in depth). Your making a random, very broad statement. If it were that easy, everyone would be doing that! Unless you want to state from experience that youve done this, then by all means, please tell, but I really dont see that happening

There are, or were 2 argate bugs. One man had to open the main menu and then speak to the blacksmith and then fortify. When it then failed, choose character and then relogin. that is the first one

There was also one where they failed after it was simply the waffe drop and then they had lifted against the weapon then at the last +. But I think that was a very early version

yes, what sheepcheese said is true. i believe this is the "true" glitch everyone was looking for. where you drop the weapon if it failed and you'd get the + it was at before it failed. i have an older version of 2moons executable. im not sure what version it is but ill try soon as i get home from school

also i bough me from acclaim coins this BM tool for +18% more chance but my max what i can do with my wep is +7 ^^ i ant get it higher ^^
