Scam: Turn Stanchers into Dragon Balls

If you would read he thread you would know what the DBscam.rar file is.
I posted what was asked for.
Some how he has to get the three files in the dL into his so called friends computer. Then his friend will see DB's instead of Stancher's.
Most likely he will try to trade DB's for equipments or armors from his friend.
But in reality he is getting stancher's.

Basically I took the DB .dds files and renamed the the file to the stancher name.
That takes care of the pictures.
Then I edited the itemtype.dat so the stancher description is that of DB's now.

Tested and works. ;)
It's fun to have a inventory full of DB's that only payed 1 silver for each. :eek:

Yes, there is no way it wouldn't work. TQ wouldn't patch over that... they'd have to change everything.

Just remember that this is only client sided. ;)

You have to figure out how to get the attached files on to the other computer first. :p

Also don't let them see other stancher's too.
Because they'll see DB's instead. :eek:

a good idea is to somehow incorporate it into a program of a kind (Virus-related i guess?)
that would patch it into their system without them knowing =d

a good item to pick would probly be a windspell->db or any item.

isn't this scam just like the edited item file where it was a regular gem -> super dragon gem or super gem?

I like this much better though but we need to find a way to get it into the system.
