There are other servers that are "populated" and you can have fun there but if you are searching for a very very active one - yeah, choose one of those 3 servers. ;)

You can check how populated a server is by checking rankings and Chief Colonel.
Dead servers have 1 per company, more populated ones have more per company

Umm, anyone knows till which level there's new player protection that no one can attack you? Can't seem to find it on BP forums
