It was posted a few years ago...Probably some changes have been made

hmm this quest has never been worth it for the 9 mets on my server i get about 15-20 just doing the 120 quest for a hour with my archer or my tao cool hints though i guess for people that are on servers where mets cost more

time consuming you can easily hunt mets with cid

Dude, i dont know if any one has said this in above replies, but Normal Fury gems give you GOLD NEEDLES

its a good guide.. btw i just wanna tell u all that maybe u know it already..
we also can get dbs from bluemouse not only mets..
i have got about 2dbs when doing this quest..
and its RANDOM

lol here are some incertains about gem questing tradin!!!

u can get old needle with violet, moon or FURY gems; when u have 1 gold needle gem u need only 2silver needle gems, becouse u will surrely obtain or necklas or cartine for silver and surely obtain sword for gold, so u need 1 vio/moon/fury and 2(or combination) of rainbow/dragon/phoenix.. no tortoist gems alowed in this quest!!
