Everything looks like it is configured OK. I still haven't seen your .bat but I assume you used the one in the guide except for the German locale part.

If you haven't compressed your .opt files the servers wouldn't even start.

You are using the auth emulator correct because you are using the emulator .opt file.

I am not really sure it is hard for me to say if you missed one important step in the guide or not.

All I do know is it works. If you follow the guide every step in it and don't skip any steps it works.

Sometimes setting up a private server is not something everyone can do.

Hmmm so i can give you Pics from The Rappelz client and The Game_Server and Auth_Server and The database

Is there a gm tool that works after using these instructions for making a server? I have tried GM Tool V5 but can't seem to get it to work.

You do realize that most GM tools are not built with a direct gameserver connection so they are based on clipboard copy paste command generation right?

The character pasting the command into the games chat window will need a GM permission value set at 100.

So what exactly is not working for you.

I forgot the permission was suppose to be 100 thought it was suppose to be changed from 0 to 1 my mistake

Hello, i just need help about editing gameserver.opt.
What password have i to replace "REPLACE.ME.WITH.PYROK.TOOL.GENERATED.PASSWORD " by ?
That's my major issue here, since i've tested with my sql "sa" password, and captainherlock just crashed after connecting to Arcadia.

sa password after it has been hashed with pyroks tool.

I hardly think hashing the wrong password in there is causing captain to crash though.

Do I have to use a specific MD5 key for the hash of my admin account password ?

The key that is in the .opt file and no it does not have to be specific you can edit the .opt and make it what you want you do not have to keep the default.

Every created account will use the same key you put in there though it will not be specific to your admin account.

Quick question: if I want to use another language (I don't really, but some of my friends may want to), will I have to edit the Arcadia db or can I leave it as it is by default?
If not, is there a SQL query to update correctly the required local_flag?

So everything worked fine and the server started and all, i created an account in the dbo.accounts, when i launch the client and i try to login in, nothing happens not even a message saying that connect to login server failed or anything.. so what should i do?
