I was experimenting with Golang in my spare time, incredibly quick to get into the language if you have a little programming experience, along with a simple image library I did in a total of a few hours work that would have taken weeks of total work before, in fact I probably spent more time in Blender doing these horrible designs than programming a game with "good" multithreading support.

I might open this thing up for Beta Testing in a few months if anyone wants to play it, it's not a Darkorbit clone but I took their 2D style for the ships, I think it's cooler than full 3D since I can crank the rendering quality up a notch

golang is awesome, do you use ebiten for the client?
