maybe if you have friends on the server it worth to join. i made a character yesterday and there were only 4 parties on party matching screen.

It's definitely worth it to join here. And you can always catch up if you are active to attend the daily server activities which are: events hosted by the DemonRoad staff, Job Temple, Forgotten World, Holy Water Temple, Capture The Flag(so-ok npc) and even trading is very active here since it can let you earn a lot of gold.

yep, it has been alive for more than 5 years ;)
there are enough active players daily (specially on weekends) as there are many activities in the server that would entertain them
and yes it's definitely worth it to join the game, now or later, it's never too late to play it
there are many people that can help you to start over..
just make sure to read the server rules before you start playing
