Verification doesn't add any security at all.
If kids can get a fake ID to get beer what do you think an anti-cheat team can do? Also it's not like I have a list of everyone's name and address who will assist Ricochet.
Real security is assuming the enemy already has your software & preventing them from doing anything of value to them with it.
Invite only can work well on an extremely small scale (10-50), but even anti-cheat shills are active as "cheat users" in the scene. Maybe not employees of anti-cheat companies but more so reverse engineers that will send them things for a price. Or just people who have no decency & will give access to someone else with bad intentions if you piss them off. There is no reason to make an invite only 50 user COD cheat right now considering I have remained UD and never detected with many more users.
