COtobo v0.35 BETA

01/24/2006 00:06 Dantrius#256
Found two bugs in version 0.25, not sure if it is still in version 0.27, sorry if it is
The first one occurs when you mine a gem that can disconnect you...
When you get disconnected, if you deactivate the gem disconnector option, enter the game again, return to the city, store/trade your gems, etc...
When you activate the gem disconnector again, it will automatically disconnect you again as if you still had the gem in the inventory, could be because it still has the item stored in the program's memory. When you reconnect, it won't disconnect you again.
The other bug is that some messages seems to be jumping line, picture below explains better

Oh once again, grats on your program choco ^^ it seems to be working great, i still didn't get any major problems

EDIT: Btw, my OS is WinXP SP2

Wow, gotta love 0.27. The 4 new effects in the Misc tab are awesome. The first time I selected all 4 of them, when nobody was moving in tg it freaked me out, but then I realized dc'ing in tc will barely ever happen again. Wonderful new feature, good job Choco.

Edit: After using this for about an hour, I have gotten dc'ed 1 once on 2 computers with odd messages. The first message said Warning=(something I can't remember this part)0.

When I was using this on the other computer, I got it again when I saw there was a dc. This time it said Warning=(something I can't remember this part)-1.

I know this can't be detected by GM's because it isn't really like the bjx that was detectable and you said yourself it wasn't detectable. So I'm wondering what is this message and why am I getting it?

OK I got a new problem here. I was mining and a little Error Message poped up that said :

Warning: res= -1!

What does that mean?
01/24/2006 02:11 shadowkiller#261
Chocoman, Ambrocious posted the correct thing that I am getting as well.
01/24/2006 03:03 unknown01#262
Well Chocoman, i found 3 bugs.
First bug is the login. When you log in it says "Warning res=0! or Warning res=-1!" Second bug when your mining, and when a blue, red, black names D/C's you, you get the error "Warning res=0! or Warning res=-1!" and you click okay, and then it D/C your client.
Third bug, when you load the bot without the effects remover it show your guild that your in, but when you load the bot with the settings with the effects remover, it no longer shows your guild name.
I'm running my comp with the Win XP SP2, and all your versions work on my comp, just this error came up on this version v27.

Also, i dont know if this is a bug, but my server timer no longer works, it worked for me on version v25 and that's it, any other version don't work. And thanks if all these bugs help you correct them and also your bot works like a charm ;)

Props and Thanks to you chocoman4k.

The "Warning res=x!" messages are things which I accidently left in the engine after fixing a bug, will remove them in the next version.
"Warning res=0!" means the client or server disconnected you, "Warning res=-1!" means you got disconnected from the server for whatever reason (ping timeout, bad connection etc).

Dantrius:
The bug with the messed up player notifications was fixed in v0.26. It was due to TQ's new SPAWN_ENTITY packet.
Trading is not supported by COtobo yet so I suggest not using it.

whatdabeep:
I don't have any Win98 computer here to test it, so it might make some time to fix it.

My connection is holding fine, but I'm still getting res = 1 :/

Bug with 0.27

I logged on, went into TG, disabled all the effects. Then it looked like i was disconnected, so I re-enabled them, and i was taking damage from everyone around me. Kinda funny. But its not suppose to happen.

Windows XP SP2

Thanks
Chris
