If you are launching the game in English the client I posted in the collection thread for useful links works with the English sframe provided with the server files.

If it does not work for you then there is something else going on like a program conflict.

How long did you allow the client to go not responding because Windows is clueless when it comes to the sframe loading process.

I click the bat, permission window appears, I accept, the small loading window appears, then a msg appears that an unexpected error has occurred.

I might just look into using an external source to run it. I think its a port issue because authorization is not being granted after I hit logon. 127.0.0.1 refused to connect. I tried everything I could think of to give SFrame the correct authorization, but nothing is working.

The auth port in your .bat should match the auth port in your auth.opt file

From the examples in the guide this port...

N:io.auth.port:9881

Should be what is in your .bat launcher

As long as you did not change what is in the guide for these you should be OK

It does match. I am completely stumped, and I think I am going to use another source instead of my comp to host. Thank you for all the help.

sorry I wasn't keeping up on the situation, now that I looked it up all over again. i would like a picture of the error, and are you running the client on the same pc you are opening a local server at and is your ram enough to be 4gb ?

i have a problem when i log up all work but when i choose the server (Revolution official or what is called) it say can't connect to the server pls help:handsdown:

It is probably a port issue.

Can you post your gameserver.opt file?

BTW i resolved the problem changing all the ip to the local host ip 127.0.0.1 can someone explain me what those two ip means (what the are doing)

thanks a lot :D i downloaded the 9.4 us client from the forum idk if is good or not XD

S:io.ip_address:127.0.0.1
S:io.upload.ip:127.0.0.1

Those are the IPs you need to have to tell the game where to connect to the servers. One is the upload server and one is the game server.

I can not believe they are not local host addresses in this guide.

EDIT: I checked the .opts in the guide and they are correct I will check the download .opts also.

EDIT2: The download .opts also look correct as well, you must have left the ones in that came with the server files.
