Well yeah, you need to extract the file then add it as an exception in your anti-virus because it prevents you from opening it.

i have no clue but from wut i understand , this thread need to get revised by a mod

Yeah, there's something definitely wrong. Been using it for a while then after my anti-virus updated it removed the file saying it was a trojan. I'm not sure why but it's either because of it being protected by smartassembly or because it thinks it's doing something malicious because it opens and edits your itemtype.dat file. Either way, I'm sure it's safe since I just rebuilt my code and still detects it as a virus; Must be a new virus detection methodology in new anti-virus updates.

Lol. No virus. False positive. So can be used but works only for weapons and talismans. In rest is serversided.

No thats not the case, the server tells you that the item is normal. There's nothing you can about it.
11/06/2010 05:14 Lotherein#270
Hmm, the search to make it happen isnt over though. i assume there is something client wise preventing it. unless they did the same like +1's and let the server decide it. if that is the case bloody impossible, blahhhhhhhhhhhhh *dies*
