Yea honestly it at least takes s few hours to update (for Requiem the client changes almost every week like clockwork), then I do a lot of searching and monitoring for security stuff they might add.
The more offsets (that's direct code, data, object data offsets, and occasional changes in packet formats) the more complicated things get.
I use scripts to help update stuff, and one could probably make a signature based thing that could automatically update most things.
Then fixing and adding stuff takes a lot of time too.

Anyhow it's fun for the most part, and I encourage people to learn and do their own work and experiments.

One thing which would be great - would be a small tutorial on how to search the memory for the basic offsets & object data.

There are tutorials out there - but to have it catered for Requiem would be awesome.

Do you use cheat engine? or ollydbg? or other?

All of the above, plus a lot of IDA Pro.
I do a lot of reverse engineering to find where things are, and how they work.

There are some pretty good tutorials on the gamedeception.net forums.
Although don't know of too many IDA Pro tutorials, it's more knowing assembly
and how C/C++ compilers construct stuff.
