If you want to complain about the updater. Not having the latest file. Then just do not use it

It is taking me over 10 minutes to even get 1 file online. As I have to find a hotspot and attempt to upload.

So the best I can do is update all on Monday

Anyways, like 911Sky says in the above post, it might be better to just manually download the addon for now. The updater won't have the latest version available until 911Sky uploads to the storage the updater downloads from. Given the current situation he's in he won't be uploading to it for some time.

So yeah, best to just manual download/update for now :-)

For anyone that's interested. I just started working on changing the guide parser on the Dugi Guides addon. My end goal will be, that you'll be able to copy/paste the guides folder from Zygor, into the addon I made the changes to. Or if I can, load the guides directly from the Zygor addon folder.

The reason I'm attempting this, is because I like the design of the Dugi Guide Viewer a lot more than Zygor's. It just fits more with the game.

I'm not efficient with LUA so I might give up, or it might just take a while :-)

I will make a new post regarding this if I succeed, and then share it here if I'm allowed of course.

i still dont get why ? the current duigi has all 7 chapters zygor only 1-4

what is in zygors guide that isnt in duigi's that you need to parser ?

Some guides (not all) zygor offers is in my opinion better in general (not just leveling, or endgame content). That's just a personal opinion.

Dugi probably pushed the update
Seeing he hardly ever updates it. But still charges people. For a sub and no update.

Zygor updates it more and frequently

I've tried using Dugi, and granted Zygor is far from perfect, but Dugi's guide just had me running around all crazy. I'd like there to be a good competitor for Zygor's guide, lord knows that guide can frustrate me like crazy, but until they get more team members to actually run those guides and pickup the missed content it won't be Dugi for me.

I really like Dugi guides, especially the lvling guide is better than zygor, for my taste!

There won't ever be a suitable alternative to Zygor. It's like wishing for a suitable alternative to wow - there just isn't one and won't ever be one.

If I bought zygor guide just for one month and my month ends do I just get locked out of the addon or will it still workand not be updated anymore.
