Moth is better than drill even if you have a basic fe ship.
In gates it is usefull and it doesn't slow your ship... :p

Why do you apply for moderator if you are not active? Like, a moderator is a person who's into the section (most likely) and is interested in its future. I'm NOT trying to offend you anyhow... But why apply if you'll quit after a few weeks or you'll be inactive and kicked out. It'll take a lot of your time which I believe you would rather spend programming. :p

In the most gates moth is better.. For aliens the moth is good for npc who have low hp and big shield. Drill is good for aliens farm on general.

I know that it will take a lot of time but I have this time now.

If you want to go to 5-3 and collect Palladium, I would recommend you Aegis. If you don't want to collect it, get moth :)
