IMPORTANT NOTICE
We are under attack, by an exploit that f*cks up the database. The reason? Actually really simple, so it causes great pain in our asses.
We have been betrayed.
Our web developer who helped our work for 2 years, who we know and lives nearby, gave up is position. Not like a man, no. He disappeared, moved, not answering calls, messages on facebook and phone - he doesn't react at all. We know that he sees all of these, but no matter how we try, nothing happens. We considered him as a friend and he did a lot of work for us (he even got paid for it), and we cannot see the reason how this bullshit came up. What's even more worse: not even he left us in deep shit, but he even fucked up the protection of the server. That's the reason that the attacker's job was so easy. We have shown the website to a security expert, we have checked the whole thing over. The guy caused huge harm. Shameful.
We cannot comprehend this; but... Do we give up? No.
This might sound incredible and many will say that we are talking bullshit, but we have invested TREMENDOUS work in this server, and it became awesome. Do you agree? There's nothing I can say or ask for, but I can make everyone sure that we don't give up just because we're off after a bad start. I know, it DOES sound bad, the whole story. Our (ex)web developer's timing was the worst possible.

EXTRA NOTE: As soon as we fix the protection problem (days, perhaps), the server will reopen.

EDIT: And those who are complaining don't know that you cannot handle everything on your own. You have to trust people and their work, because you know them for years (not just the mentioned 2, we know him from school). We are ashamed that this could happen. Nothing of this sort in our sro server career happened to us. We would gladly solve it easily, but we lost a member, and though he is replaced already, he has to fix the security issues. We're on it.

You did a good job with server files, sad that your friend betrayed you, shit happens all the time. But you could inform your players before when you did the first/second rollbacks...

Anyways good luck, hope you will fix the security problems ASAP.

Well if he was a trusted person, then I understand, but I would never trust someone 100% You should've come see that too and kept a emergency plan. nvm Good Luck on keeping it up!

It actually took time measuring the results and deciding what is the attack type and what's the causing result.

And actually, the yesterday evening was a huge pain in my ass. Unfortunately I didn't have any comforting thoughts. xD But heads up, our security expert is on the go and we help him where we can.

Sad that I hear that , knowing exactly how it feels to be betrayed by a trusted friend..
At all , as you make it clear for all of us to know what was going on , we'll be waiting until you fix the server's security wishing you the best of luck !
