If you are running x64 Windows 7 It will not work.. It has been reported that it does not work with x64 Win7 and x64 Vista

just tried it on vmware under xp.
works now, replaced the 2 files you posted on page 1
but when i start 9D it says the following

XKernel error
Failed to load: item property

then a second

XKernel error
Can't start triplex application

Those are 9Dragons client errors and have nothing to do with 9Disciple. You may need to reinstall the game. Check your EOD.log in the game directory and see what it says. Don't post it here, this thread is for 9Disciple only.

so are you saying your using a 64 bit machine?
if not you don't need to run it under vmware

to fix the XKernel errors:
you need to use a different file(s) try [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

I'm using Windows 7 x64 and it's working fine for me.

Running compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3 and Running as Administrator for these three executable files. (UAC is disabled as well)

9Disciple
NINEDRAGONS
NDLAUNCHER

As Scotticus said it does not require a password nor will it prompt for anything of the sort. I hope you downloaded 9Disciple from here and not somewhere else. In case you did download it from here, that password prompt is likely for something else such as password protected media or other. I'm not familiar with Vista or Win7 so I don't recognize the prompt.
