axel/Buriks

What application do i need for the Windows Side?

1.MSSQL 2008 R2
2.MySQL
3.Jave (Jre7)

What do i miss? anyone have a guide how to upload the given database to MySQL?

Do i have to forward some port? If so, what port should i open?

Where can i find database files for BOI?
07/19/2012 09:32 buriks#246
@Krozo MSSQL 2008 r2, Java jre6
DB's are already installed just edit the configs on both windows and centos
database files are in mssql folder on windows side restore them in mssql 2008 r2
No porting

Ok thanks. DB's are already installed? What do you mean by that?

So your saying there's 2 DB? In Linux and Windows?

Can you add up my skype? devilghost44.

Yes there are two db's one on each system. Linux=MySQL Windows=MSSQL
The DB on MySQL is already installed on the machine
The DB on MSSQL needs to be restored in mssql 2008 r2
I will not Skype or teamview

@buriks: I use the old bak file from Axel to restore in mssql 2008 r2 in sql authentication mode. Sorry for asking this noob question but how can I make MSSQL running? I have the picture of mssql and can you tell me whether it is running? Also, I see a file GSql.exe in the Mssql folder from new file of this thread, and do I have to do anything with that file?

In linux, mysql is running (in picture), am I right? And for Linux Ip address, you use ifconfig in the terminal to find out the IP right?

Sorry for those noob questions. I really appreciate if you can help me =)

Mssql works as long as you restore the db in it and MySQL starts when you start the server.
Gsql is useless to me at this point
