Well still counting on Emulators.
A new Battle System would be nice (Like the Stagger Gauge in FFXIII)
As you can see there is a Bar with the Name of the Enemy.
"Stagger (ブレイク, Bureiku?, lit. "Break") (in the Final Fantasy XIII Demo it was called Bonus) is a gameplay feature in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2. As the party consistently attacks an enemy, its chain bonus will increase. When the chain bonus reaches the enemy's stagger point, the chain bonus is instantly increased and the target is generally more vulnerable to all kinds of attack (including negative status effects). In addition, a staggered target's chain bonus increases more rapidly due to its chain resistance being ignored for the duration.
While staggered, the chain gauge will steadily decrease (although percentage damage may still build as usual), and the enemy stops being staggered and has its chain bonus reset to 100% when the timer runs out."
Means after the Enemy reaches the Stagger Point (From 100% to 200%) the Enemy gets shocked and you can deal more Damage to the Enemy.
Roles in the Game could be in Silkroad :
Commando | Warrior and Rogue. They're tanking the Enemy and the Stagger will not decrease faster. (Need in ordner to Stagger the Enemy)
Ravager | Wizard / Warlock / Bard. They're increasing the Stagger and after the Enemy is Staggered they're doing 20-50% more with an Attack.
Enemies gain more Damage with more Stagger %.
Sentinel | Warrior. They're Provoking all Monster's. They got new Skills.
A Self-Fence which brings 200-500 HP / Second.
A Self-Fence which reduces the Damage income for the whole Party.
A Self-Fence which reduces Phy/Mag. Damage Income for the Warrior.
A Self-Fence which absorbs all Damage and leads into a Counter-Attack means the Warrior got 3.000 Damage and deals 15.000 Damage back.
Saboteur | Warlock. They're Debuffing Monster's. Also the Stagger Decrease will slowdown due to Debuffing also will Increase.
Synergist | Every Euro Build which got Skills. Also every Player got his own Stagger Gauge. Higher the Stagger Gauge = Better the Buffs and Heals. Also Damage Income from the Monster's Increases. They're Buffing the Party Players. If the Player got 150% Stagger Gauge and gets Screen's as example the Screens will stay for 1 Minute instead of 45 Seconds.
Medic | Cleric. He will Heal the Party. Higher Stagger Gauge means more HP Heal. Same goes with Bard. Higher the Stagger Gauge = Higher the MP Income. Also Bless gets affected by the Stagger Gauge.
The Damage at 100% Stagger Gauge is low but the Key of Success for doing High Damage is to Stagger the Enemy.
The same for PvP.
Warrior's are doing 1-2% every Hit. 1-2 Minutes later they're near the Stagger Point (150-200%) so one of them is able to deal more Damage.
Also for the Warlock's they need to Stagger a Enemy in PvP to Success with Debuffs. They also should get a Debuff which increases the % income of an Enemy.
Chinese are allrounder. They can easily Stagger the Enemy without having an Wizard or Warrior. If they attack the Stagger Gauge will not decrease so fast and they deal already enough Damage at the Beginning.
Well ya such a System would be nice. That's why i prefer Emulators cause you can modify everything you want. But doing such a thing is almost impossible^^.
