Hi there, as you can see I post that it can be hard but possible to grow up an account in a populated servers, also mentioned it is easier if he goes to a less populated server or he can ask for someone to help him frequently.
Now, about going or not to an empty server it's up to him.

GE1 and GA1 between others are way too populated so you are going to have a hard time trying to building up your account although is still possible.
Of course it will be easier if you do it in a less populated server, as you said servers merges is a rumour since years ago but admins have been talking about it and probably will occur, no idea when.

there was a way to increase the field of view, kind of like zoom out the browser and see more throughout the space. does this method help in spawning palladium or boxes or mines? because when the ship gets a little bit further from the palla, for example, that palla gets invisible. it's still there, the pet can collect it, but you can't see it until you get closer. same with the mines, they are invisible until you get very close to them, which is often too close and they explode (and that's hell of annoying). oh and if that method works, how could you do that?

Hey, i often see people asking how to grind properly in D.O., that they are struggling to hunt npc properly, so here's a tip: get an Aegis (preferably an Elite one, but a Veteran does just fine too), get all Iris and lf3, then just collect palla to do zetas or bot until you can buy a diamond formation, then life will get 2000000% easier.

From what i've seen, if you're going to start from 0 would be better in terms of "account safety".
Not saying that buying an account isn't safe, it is but... you will play on an account which isn't 100% your, that's my feeling. Maybe i don't feel much safe anymore after have seen 2 accounts disappeared from my mail xDD

I've made my account on sk2 because i have some mates there, and also because it's much easier to build an account, like if you need something on trade you can bid few millions instead of wasting much credits.

Also i made it there hoping for server merge ahah, i played enought on too much populated servers for now xD

Better to play on server where you started, in your origin language. Without chat, game is boring. Without old friends and enemies, game will be boring after a while. I have had high ranking GE1 and GA1 accounts, but its not the same feeling as my high ranking USA west account. I would much rather build an account on usa west again, then on ga/ge1.

With server merges coming, hope to bring in some more activity to my origin server is all :)

Hi there, as you said in terms of account safety build one from zero would be safer rather than buy one because so many scammers out there, although there are still trusted people you dont know when someone will try to scam you and you have to be ready and trust no one. BTW I feel sorry for your ex-two accounts xD.

I mean, buying account from trusted sellers is safe 99% of times. You know, the original owner may go mad and get it back somehow ahah

And yes, atm i feel like i prefer to make my own account... maybe because my only own account was made in 2011 and sold after the big banwave ? xD
