Got a lv 50 rogue. I have no motivation to play this game anymore, knowing this server AS any other server out there or about to be released , will die in less than 1 or 2 months.( REGARDLESS of amount of players on it)

Which is very sad. This game had huge potential. Nostalgia or not but this game was and it is Epic. Pvp animations and everything beats even World of Warcraft. WoW started to addopt the animations BARELY now, in the new expansion coming up.

I don't really feel motivated to invest time and maybe $ in my char, only to have the server dead in 2 weeks. Well maybe 600-700 players online is something, but when u know that it had over 2000 , it feels a little weird, altho its not dead yet.

Yeah that's true . The fact the WoW is being sold in shops as well , for sure granted them more spotlight, people bought the game to play there . Joymax made a "free to play" (aha , free2play for sure) game without serious ads, only internet marketing .
Also people join fresh servers with the hope that "oh it's gonna be so long term even my grandchild will be playing it" . :/ We got a bit offtopic tho , lol :D
If you remember back to the time of Sjsro , ECSRO , ZSZC (original) , there werent such competence with new promises every day , and those servers lasted for long time (even tho the exploits and bugs and basic failures) and well people who played on those, might hated those servers back then, but now if you think back , you want to experience the same feeling you had again and again, but no server can truly reflect that :/

To the point. We won't have servers like these because literally everyone has the SRO files, and everyone can open a server. Open 5000 servers, expect shit to happen.
Can't just BIG developers of servers UNITE for once and create a perfect Sro server? So any other guy that comes around with his fresh-made server can suck it.
Sad because i've experienced the Electus reborn server , 3k players online after quitting sro for some time. I was fucking shocked to see this huge amount. I was like, yeah, it'll last forever. This one as well, i heard it reached 3k as well and now there are 1700..

Btw i cant get the mbot running? i ran it as admin, located the Lvn folder and as soon as i press Start client, nothing happens ?

You can unite with chuck norris and yet the server wont be perfect.

You can create whatever you want, the system can be awesome and yet these retards will destroy every server. Cant wait for the day when every real dev gives up on sro and they end up with random kinds opening a server. Then they will realize, they fked up.

well i know of demonroad and eryx that are longterm, but its hard to archive anything there (no ad, just for the topic..)
youll need friends there already and even that is hard cuz the long playing playerbase got friends with each other, one of the two servs actually needs payment to get along with the others but i know one of them is online for about a year.
