[Release]My source...

Elite CoEmu is the least buggy, most completed source.

There are no public sources with features though that are worth using for a public project. If you just want something for like 50 players max though coemu should work just fine.

I would upload my Elite CoEmu source... but it's not complete. What do you think pro? Should I upload it anyways? It's 5165... lol

<greedy p4n is greedy>

don't do it

</greedy p4n>

Realistically though it will make almost no difference. They will still end up running a nearly cookie cutter source and their server will fail xD

YYAYY pessimism!

Lol =P yah

I like my new source a lot though... so I don't use the Elite COEmu source, and i guess I should thank Impulse since he gave me the best idea on how to save characters using this source! MySQL + UpdateDatabase for everything that could rollback! =] Thanks Impulse!

I get this error, but I am using MySQL through WampServer. Can anyone help out?

#1: Do you have the same path that exists in that error?

#2: Do you have a character created? IIRC this source does not have char creation coded by default (check line 90 to see what it's trying to load and make sure that database is populated for the character)

I still do not understand the problem or how to fix this, anyone else orpro4never can u explain more in depth?

I know what the problem is. Your MySQL configuration table isn't right. Your character uid needs to be changed because it's not forwarding correctly. Also, there's a problem in this source with the foward/item/entity uid counter. It needs to be separated or else you're going to get item errors when you buy items. Good luck!

Have you made both an account and a character in the database? That's your problem.

This source doesn't have character creation meaning you need to manually set one up with the proper values in the database.

IE: Make sure uid is same between account and character tables and that you have all the values initiated (name, job, coords, map, etc)

You're thinking of Hybrid's source. This one has character creation.

can always use fang's edit of this source and just upgrade the spawn packet to get back to 5165 I found that a better choice..

I did create a character in mysql databse but the error still continues to pop up when I try to run the server
11/10/2010 22:59 Toxiccornholeo#240
this is the code which the directory in the error states

public bool Read()
{
if (_dataset.Tables[Table].Rows.Count > _row) <------""" LINE: 90"""
{
_datarow = _dataset.Tables[Table].Rows[_row];
_row++;
return true;
}
_row++;
return false;
}

I've done everything the video did and check it more than twice >.>
