Try to open game/game_settings.cfg

delete:

Set svr_masterServerAddress "masterserver.hon.s2games.com"
Set svr_masterServerScript "/server_requester.php"

Otherwise donīt allow your brother on your computer. LAN-Version is not for updating. :-P

I meant the few heroes that could be easily port with existing in hon skilltypes. About the model I think using model of a creep could do with some custom glow or texture.

For example as windrunner we can use any archer model, make it larger and there's standard glow for heroes. We use some range stun as first skill, forsaken's ulti with one wave as second skill, something like madman's invis with different effect as third skill and im not sure if its possible but would be nice to base her ulti on swift's ulti, if not something quite different wouldnt brake the concept of inteligence ranger.

Make the concept I will make the hero and write the description for the attacks in a textfile. I pm you my E-Mail. Send it over and I make your hero.

EDIT: Scale is too big. Compare Swiftblade, which is normal human and Windrunner.

Change to modelscale="1.0" and it looks perfect. Maybe even only 0.9. But 0.8 whould be too small.

I have made the hero.

1. Based on voodoo stun with just one bounce but its longer and doesn't do any damage - nothing special to show on screenshot.

2. Based on forsaken's ulti. Just one arrow, dunno if i can make it without channeling and/or change the projectile model here.

3. Based on nomad sand storm but doesn't disable attack and has slow based on kraken's slow when active.

4. Based on madman ulti but lesser damage instead of faster movement and no damage accumulation, great attack speed increasement for 5 seconds - nothing special to show on screenshot.

Because of problems with projectile model of second skill I had to change the theme completely. I'm still not sure if Mixturer is the right name for the int archer. This is the proof of concept how we can bring some interesting heroes from DotA. Ofcourse there will be only few because of not enough models but still its worth it I think.

I would appreciate if all of you talking here would think how to remake heroes from dota those were fun to play. Next one i'm thinking of is Dark Seer using tempest ulti overpowered with lesser dmg as vacuum, some buff as ion shell and electric ulti as surge. However I don't know yet how to make his ulti and additionally i dunno if his ulti the same as in dota is the most important part of this hero. Think of NH/scout + ion shell guyz - great teamwork :D

EDIT: to not go far with it there is a hero that can go strait from Dota with everything here - Skeleton king - big skeleton creep model, hammerstorm stun, vampiric aura, critical strikes from madman and ulti should be possible to make it somehow from token. I assume it can be made by buff with ondeath parameter, but dunno how to make this dependant on cooldown and mana. Hope you can help me with that Sordi.

So thx Sordi^^ for implimented Alleria in HoN^^.

One more thing: Alleria' ulti, normally, is casted for 30 secondes and added her, maximum attack speed in the cost of her damage divised by 50/40/33% to ONE target. If She change her target, the buff is cancelled. Attack modifers and orbs effects is affected too. you can use the F.Archer split shot and MadMan'ulti to modify into +400% or more.

Her Skill#2' damage is reduced for 10% to any creep he damaged since his origins, to the target.

EDIT: Skill n#4: normally, the spell give her more faster attack speed(To Maximum Attack speed), and the spell is a targeted spell in Dota.

She's a Staff of the Master' effect, but I forgot how effect.


Another thing: My idea for implimented Dota Heroes on HoN===> The Night Stalker BALANAR:D

Balanar: A monsta' hero who uses fulls power and overweight Strenght at Night.
Model's Idea: Corrupted Disciple with Succubus' wings.( yeah, i know this is... incredible, but this is Balanar^^)

Skill#1: a powerful targeted magic spell. At night, with magic damage, he slows the target to 50% for a short duration.
Skill#2: At night, he have special abilities, like more attack speed and movement speed.(+70%AS and +30%MS at lvl 4).
Skill#3: A spell who silenced the target and have a blind'effect===> chance to miss. At Night, the spell' duration is increased.

Skill#4: Balanar uses his powers to fall day over night for a certain duration.

Staff of The Master' effect: during the night, Balanar has a big vision around him(1500).

What do you think, Sordi?

To Skeleton King ulti. his cost is 150 mana, all levels. and cooldown is something like 300/240/120 secondes.:D

I was wondering, how about creating the recommended items pannel? :P I know it must be hard, but if you managed to add extra pannels and introduce the new items, you should be able to do this also. Tip: i noticed in the babayaga hero.entity this:

also, i've tried out maliken: he's rather buggy, but could work fine.
Hero: Maliken
No icon
Ability:1 - Sword Throw: The damage is there, the range looks fine, after the throw the skill changes to teleport, teleport is working fine, there is just a minor bug: there shouldn't be the cooldown on the teleport, but on the Sword Throw.
Ability 2: It just dissapears from the pannel after leveling it.
Ability 3: Hellbourne Zeal - Works fine.
Ultimate: He transforms nicely, i think i noticed the extra attack speed, the armor bonus is there, dunno if the AOE silence works, played solo, don't think the splash works, and he doesn't have range attack.

Everything works fine cause I've found out how to make ulti cooldown etc watching how does jereziah splash works and Leorics ulti works just fine. Additionally I gave him flaming sword as it was in dota theme.

I'm waiting for your team colours on this hero Sordi :D
EDIT: I forgot about that 150 mana cause this wasnt written on dota page - crap :P
