Been around since november of 2005

After ~3 weeks on the server, here's what I think about it :

First of all, this is a really good old-school server. I tried dozens of cap 60/70/80 servers and none of them made me feel back to 2006 like this one.

The community is great and even though there's some minor drama from time to time (this is still SRO lol), most people I met and talked to are very nice and eager to help newcomers.

Here are some things you need to know to help you decide if you want to join :

- It takes 1 to 2 weeks to get to lvl max (40) if you play a few hours every day.

- All rates are hard so when you succeed (alchemy, SOX) this is much more rewarding than all-bot, high rates servers.

- When you're lvl 40 you'll probably have to farm 30 to 40k SP to be FF 40 with 4 masteries.

- You can start 2 clients so you can stall with your second char while playing with your main.

- The 3-job system is very fun and when you level your job up you get some silk and useful items but nothing OP that would break the game.

- The lvl-50-update is coming on September 1st so you still have 1 full month to catch up and if you decide to join the community will help you.

- I have no idea how many players there are exactly but there's almost always someone to talk to and play with, even late at night (western Europe timezone here).

- There are no donations, the only ways to get silk is by doing quests and jobbing which makes this server 100% play to win.

- Botting and logging on with a bot is forbidden and will get you banned but you can download and use a keypresser provided by the server admin to save your hands from hurting after hours of farming :D
