Dear community,

Currently the server is undergoing an update. Here is the list of features and bugfixes:

Features/improvements/changes

- A faster and with less crashes or login issues client! It will require more work (and we'll be right on it!) but it's a step towards a smoother, more stable client.
- Added hunting quests back.
- The Lump of Gold you receive from Balso quest can't be traded, dropped due to negative ranking, put on safebox nor sold in player's shops anymore.
- Using the Ctrl+Q shortcut will now toggle the quest window and "Tasks" button.
- Mall gloves are now more powerful than ever! They can now properly stack with your equipped gloves to improve your drop even more.
The irremovable gloves bonus rate has been slightly reduced for that reason.

- Shinshoo Kingdom has been opened!

- Deathblow mechanic changes
- Fixed warriors not being affected by Deathblows.
- Deathblows will only occur if a monster has less than half its HP.
- Now deathblows will yield less damage, and you can partially reduce their damage if you have evasion.
- Reduced chances of Deathblows happening on the monsters that can do them.

- Pet System improvements
- Reduced delay to summon/mount/unmount pets.
- More fluid role changes, which now don't unmount and mount the pet when doing them.
- Added a warning when clicking "Evolve" to avoid accidental evolutions.
- Improved Cheheom messages.

- Dragon Soul System changes
- Reduced the amount of daily exchanges that can be done from 10 to 5.
- The Dragon Stone Shards now automatically fuse together forming Cor Draconis as soon as you collect the required 10 (up to 5 times).
- Chances for upgrading stones' class have been triplicated in most cases, and the stones will no longer see their class reduced.
- All class upgrades will now require 3 stones.
- Increased stone level refining chances.

- Guilds online feature has been improved
- They are updated on real time, and are slicker than ever. If an enemy guild leader connects, you'll see it inmediately!
- For guilds to show up on this list, they now need to be able to war (i.e have enough members) besides being over level 4 as before.
- Solved some problems with the interface.

- Monarch Transfer blocks have been reinforced
- The king won't be able to teleport players outside of any map that is blocked.
- Fixed kings being able to teleport players into some dungeons higher levels like Devil Catacombs.
- Kings will no longer be able to transfer or warp to Game Masters.

- Dark Dragon maps changes:
- All monster's experience has been increased.
- The monsters now drop more kinds of items.
- New item: Tainted Cheheoms. These are regular Cheheoms, with the exception that they may fail when used. They drop from most monsters in the Dark Dragon maps.
- Dark Dragon crafting materials drop with higher chance.
- Some of the equipment dropped can now contain bonuses.
- The drops are not so homogeneous now, some monsters may drop some things with higher chance than others or simply drop things others don't.
- Rarer monsters have now better drops and chances than the most common ones.
- Added Cursed Arrow drops to Archers.
- Blessing Scroll now is a regular drop from all monsters.
- Bosses can now drop more than 1 item at once, the amount of possible drops has been quintuplicated, and can rarely drop Cheheoms (Pure).
- Gold obtained from bosses and Level 5 monsters has been greatly increased, and Golden Bars drop removed.
- Former "Shark Soldier" is now called "Tritonic Soldier".
- "One-eyed Slugger" has also been renamed to "Cyclops Slugger".
- Added "Closed Scripture", a sealed scripture which will transform into one of the required for crafting when clicked on.
- "Jojig", "Bohoja", "Gyumo", "Eokkae", "Soul of a Dragon", "Golden Dragon Sculpture" items can now be obtained.

A whole new dungeon exclusive to us, Earth Dragon, has been added. The generic guidelines for it will be explained on another post later today.

- Mirine's lost brother final quest has been slightly changed:
- The Mirine's Ring which you find on the brother has been renamed to Mirine's Pendant, and it can't be traded, stored, dropped or sold anymore.
- Completely removed the Jade Necklace found along the Pendant from the quest.
- The quest now allows players to cancel it with a way smaller reward if they lost the pendant.
- Fixed the background of the Pendant.

- Slight increase on Water Crystal drop rate.
- Update on some textures: Yang-Shin, Tiger, White Tiger and Tigris.
- White, Blue, Golden Sky Gems are now stackable. Also added a description to Heavenly Jade.
- The guild war map is now brighter.
- Nation War and Siege War now show up in the "Event Quest" category.
- The "Place of the Forgotten Memories" quest will now reward Stone of Blacksmith rather than the obsoleted Magic Metal.
- Better behaviour of "Cancel" on the login screen: It now actually cancels the process.
- Players using the Kingdom Betrayal event will now be required to stay 15 days in their new kingdom before being able to use a Scroll of Betrayal.
- Removed the quest "Search for an experienced soldier".
- Changed Confucius name to Hye Chang, meaning he is the wisest of the living humans and Yo-I-Walker to Yeon-Michin, another clever mind despite the looks. We felt the need to do so as the previous existing names didn't fit the game at all.
- More realistic and visual shadow effects (increased detail and without blurriness)
- Added a quick way to send private messages to other players shouting in call chat by clicking on their name.

Fixes
- Solved problems when charging DC using vouchers.
- Fixed Taurean's Pot of Fortune being unusable for new players.
- Fixed display of Dark Dragons refined ores when they are added to the item sockets.
- Fixed the game always saying "Sorry, you can't use your horse or another mount here." when entering Dojang even if the horse wasn't summoned.
- Theatre guild wars will now work and allow joining the map..
- The doors at Dark Dragon maps will no longer block players from going through them.
- Solved Teleporter and Chuk-Sal (Spiders 2 access NPC) taking the cost of the trip without teleporting you because you had been involved on a trade recently.
- Items which are obtainable only via Item Mall can't be dropped while having negative hostile killer points anymore.
- Fixed new Bottomless Wallets not receving the starting 2.5kk.
- Real time items (i.e those whose time counter starts as you get them) or costumes which have been worn already can't be sold in player shops anymore.
- Giant Devil Bow no longer requires Blessing Scroll and Counterattack Strategy in order to upgrade it to +1. Along with this, we have balanced the attack values of both this and Phoenix Bow so that they increase with the grade.
- Solved foreign languages with different alphabets (Greek, Turkish, etc) displaying incorrectly on the client.
- If you lose the Wolf Liver of "The Medicine" quest you can now drop it again.
- Kills won't be counted twice anymore towards quests such as "The ambush" which require to kill other players.
- Added text to the first step of the Dragon Soul's beginner quest.
- Fixed Reflect Damage skill effect. Formerly the bottom part of this effect was floating while now it touches the floor.
- Fixed hitting "OK" in some popup dialogs not having the desired effect.
- Resolved some issues with the character creation screen.
- Fixed some events not being in their quest category.
- Solved fishes not showing their length (or not working at all) for clients with languages other than english.
- There formerly were two different monsters with the name 'Bone Face', so one of them has been renamed to 'Evil Bone Face'.
- Fixed a possible client crash after being invited to join a guild.
- Solved Dragon Valley minimap problems and Ginseng Collector incorrect model rotation.
- Fixed a problem with lamps having a very pixelated ilumination and showing some sort of square around them. The ilumination is now more smooth, making the environment more pleasant.
- The CTF guild war message when capturing the flag now makes sense.
- Description boxes don't go black anymore and display their contents properly.
- Fixed a memory leak related to trees which increased the memory usage after each teleport.
- Fixed an exploit on bonus switching where it was possible to get unlimited amount of bonus for a limited time when switching an equipped item.
- Corrected an incorrect answer for one of the OX event's questions.
- Other minor bug fixes and tweaks.
