For those of you that are getting this error:
KERNELHOTKEY.DLL loaded, but the DLL Entrypoint not found. File could not be registered.

I found this info and seems to be accurate:
This behavior may occur if you try to register a DLL by using Regsrv32 while you are logged on using an account that does not have administrative credentials, such as an account that is a member of the standard users group. An account that does not have administrative credentials cannot write to the registry or change files in the System32 folder.

The behavior occurs because Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 use a more restrictive security scheme than earlier versions of Windows use. This scheme prevents standard users from registering DLLs.
From: MSDN

The solution? Try creating a new user account with admin rights and see if you can register the dll then. If that does work, then that means that your user account does not have admin rights and you can change that with User Accounts. If you do have admin rights already and verified that, it might be a corrupted profile. That is not very common but it is also not unheard of. It is, after all, M$.

Ahmm...
Nightdragon, i think that will not really help. I have tried it as administrator, but with regserv32 i have had now chance!

The way, how it always work is:
- copy the hotkeysetup.exe from the rar-file to c:\
- start the command shell cmd from accessoiries (as administrator on vista!!)
- go to c:\ ("cd.." for all dos dummies until you reach c:\)
- enter: "hotkeysetup /install" (without "")
- ....installation should be successful!
...afterwards restart

This should work to 100%!!!

OR

- start the begin.exe (as administrator)
- use in the help the button install
- restart
---> same like the first possibility but you can't see if it really was succefull!!

For all peoples with the mouse/keyboard problem, stay tuned! Kev is doing a good job, next release will help you all!

I beg to differ.. if you look again you will see that the error message I was referring to states that the DLL installed successfully although the Entrypoint could not be found. Again, to better test to make sure that it is not an admin rights issue, you will need to create a new user account with admin rights to test the kernelhotkey install.

Hi Kev,

here's what the bot doing in your new version (Build 1008) :

My setup is :

Toshiba Satellite A100
Win XP SP3
USB mouse
USB Keyboard
Laptop Keyboard

1. Buff
2. Kill first mob
3. Mouse cursor go to top left but right click on the desktop...

i tried to move the windows etc..not working
07/17/2009 07:19 mikesmith#231
Yes, there seems a problem with the Build 1008. I have faced the same problem with my PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard. Kev, needs one step more. Now he knows how to get running usb and ps/2, in the next releases it don't matter what type of device you have! There are only small problems with the turn and the bottrap-detection!

Give him a little bit time and let him rest, he is working very hard on all our reported problems!!

Build 1008 fixes the problems on my machine with the mouse and keyboard. I only have the described bugs with the new spot selected (goes to the top left of the desktop).

Many thanks :)

Hi,

here is my report.

Yesterday I tried the bot on Windows XP and it did not work because I used PS/2 Keyboard and PS/2 Mouse.
Now I change the PS/2 Mouse to an USB Mouse and the Mouse works in the Testing register.
To let the Bot run, important is to press the Button Set Mob and Set Player/Pet than press Start and switch the Focus to Rappelz Screen
Yesterday I only press the Set Mob button and nothing happens.

Ok today it works, but some problems still there.
1. If the Bot kills some mob the Pickup key did not work, the bot takes no items.
2. After some kills the Bot show the Message "Time for a new Spot" what did this means, why is it time for a new spot, mob are still there.
3. After some kills, the Mouse Cursor moves to the upper left corner of the Color Grabber, the Rappelz Screen lost focus and the bot stop killing

Just as a note, Kernel Hotkey aways worked pretty fine to me with PS/2 and USB, the problem may lie on how you hook the devices on your system, e.g., you create specific Kernel Hotkey objects like new Mouse(1) instead of creating all 10 possible and hooking all, like the samples on the web site.
07/17/2009 14:39 kevzor#237
added a input box on the mouse tap for the rotate section:

all people have to do if the mouse right clicks on the desktop instead of the rappelz is adjust the settings in the mouse tab

what the bot is trying to do is rotate the screen to search for a mob if u dont have the right setting in the rotate it wil right click and drag over the desktop so adjust it to the right place in your bot 1X 1Y 2X

they have to set the location for where the player face is
they have to set the location for the pet
they have to set the location for the rotate
and they have to set a location for a click to go to a new place

they can adjust it in the textbox and save the changes
thats what the save / load is for

ow and hi yorick but i did put the all 10 devices just a few of the 1st releases use the (1) device
do u have maybe time to make a 64 bit version of that dll?
07/17/2009 16:04 Yorick_Jester#238
The installation applet already contains 64 bit versions for XP, 2003, Vista and 7 RC, but they are not signed. 64 bit drivers must be signed and there are other stuff to be done to enable unsigned drivers to load. I'm technically unable to debug a 64 bit driver but the drivers installed by the applet are system specific, just have no signing and stuff.

Many thanks to Yorick for the creation of the kernelhotkey.dll in the first place! Without that, all this wouldn't have been possible.
07/17/2009 18:24 mikesmith#240
Wow, Yorick itself is visiting us, nice to here about you!
Plz kevzor and yorick comunicate as much as you can, we all are locking forward to the results!!
