well ive fixed the ~5 problems ive encountered already, but now ive run into a random crash on startup, i have know idea how to go about fixing that

Obviously asking it over and over will not get it done any faster.. He supports windows 7 more over then 8 so thus is going to prioritize that operating system before windows 8, which I don't blame him since win8 is so horrible.

Your best bet along with everyone else using winfails8 - wait until he feels like doing it and be patient... :rolleyes:

This post would have been accurate if you did not state an opinion like it is fact. as much as I agree with you that patience is the key a post like this will only make people who enjoy Windows 8 (like myself) to want get all ornery. Let's not start any pointless arguments on such a nice thread.

Not trying start an argument per-say, to each is there own.. In terms of functionality and vulnerability, windows 8 is wide-open to quite alot.. You could easly using ipv6 layer type hits take down a win8 system without much trouble at all even with disabling it since the OS keeps alot of it back-end on.

In terms of look, windows 8 is a good looking OS. In terms of the back end, it fails on alot of aspects in terms of security and functionality.

People are welcome to use it, but alot who know the vulnerabilities of it will refrain.

Windows 8 blows compared to Windows 7. The main reason for that is because Windows 8 was designed for tablet use and then for some reason was still released for desktops and laptops.
