Sorry, I don't know what guide set 4 means. I just wanted to let you know:

1. The 23-35 guides have been released by RestedXP (they were released on 9 October)
2. They do load on Era for those that have paid (as of v4.11.29)
3. Your download currently only loads the free Forever guides (1-20 Alliance / 1-22 Horde) on Era, even on a clean install using 7zip. It does contain the premium content for all the other versions, just not Forever.

I'm hoping it works on launch, so not stressing out. Just in case you wanted to troubleshoot.

Delete all files for the addon? No. Blames the file instead for not using old settings on a new file.
Clean install means all the RXP files, 'Not just the addon'

Btw the code snippet you posted is for the RXP Dungeon Guide, which is a short guide per dungeon that allows you to find the quests for it. It is not the leveling guide. However, digging deeper into the same file I can indeed find the 22+ content, it just isn't loading on Era (unlike the official version). that's good news - it will probably work on launch then.

Well how about you understand to delete all files for the addon not just the addon

It was on a clean install, meaning a fresh install of Era with no other addons except your file, no WTF folder at all.

The full 1-35 guides currently load on Era with the official addon, that's easily verified by just reading their Discord and seeing the screenshots people post there.

I have not claimed the guides are not there, I have only informed you that they currently do not load on Era, which is why you are getting all these skeptical posts in here. Looking through the file you referenced I can see that the content is there, so it probably will work on launch. As far as I can tell it's just missing some updated flags that the official guide has got since, allowing it to load on Era.

Thanks for providing the files, but you could be nicer to people.

When someone says you are aggressive, because they cannot get what they want. They have contributed nothing. Would you be nice to them? Or will you not answer that?
When people accuse, threaten, insult, harass and abuse. Would you be nicer to them?

Just very interesting that a lot of people say the "exact" same guides loads on Era.
But then people with the exact same guides say they do not.

Im kind of a noob in WoW addons so I'm pretty sure I'm bound to do some mistakes here and ask stupid questions afterwards...
So I take my chance and see if OP or any good soul is keen to help :)

I am looking for a free version of RestedXP, as I watch and read all kind of ressources pointing to this addon, saying its the best out there.
I am about to start my WoW Forever journey in a few days and want to be ready.
But Beta being over now, I cannot "test" it myself before launch day :D

Could anyone here correct me if im wrong gere:
1. Go to post #1
2. Click on RXP
3. Download the ressource following this link (as of today i see a RXPGuides-v4.11.29 archive in there)
4. unzip it with 7zip (i believe the regular windows extractor is not good enough, having read a bunch of Descentralizado's posts on this matter)
5. put all unzipped files into the WoW Forever addons repertory
6. Launch the game
7. Enjoy !

Am I good here ?

And if so, updating it will be following the same steps ?

Exactly as you just said it.
If you need to clear anything, click import and then purge. That is a quick trick.
7ip is a drag and drop

My earlier comment was deleted, presumably because I was too revealing concerning where the actual guide was located - now you have openly said exactly which lua the guide is contained within may I suggest that you change the name of it to say Forever 1-60 (I recognise that only 1-35 is forever, and thereafter it is Era based content).

That is literally the issue that is causing the same argument to happen every day.

That file name has been the same filename since it was added.
No one enabled it, that is the issue.
