i think his criticism is valid. There's a lot of unnecessary arguing coming from OP, and honestly, some of the issues being raised are pretty reasonable.
In fact, you can download the ZIP from GitHub, ask ChatGPT to generate a simple offline website that runs locally, generate your own key, and import it into the CurseForge version. Once I figured that out, I stopped complaining myself. But that doesn't change the fact that there are some pretty basic functionality issues, especially now that the original website, which worked well, has been taken down.
Just because something is free doesn't mean it's automatically immune to criticism, especially when basic features are problematic or unnecessarily complicated.
I'm personally thankful to OP for providing the files in the first place, which is why I haven't really complained. That said, I can absolutely understand the feedback and criticism, and I think much of it is warranted. Perhaps both sides could have communicated their points a little differently.
No hate towards anyone here. I can genuinely see both sides of the argument.
And thanks again for providing RestedXP. I'm sure it's especially useful for the less technically knowledgeable members of the community, and that's something that should always be appreciated, regardless of the criticism.
Edit: For my offline website/script to work, you need to have access to at least one person who already has the guides. All it does is generate an import code based on your friend's BattleTag, which you can then share with them.
So simply sharing the script wouldn't really help you. I'll consider tweaking it after launch to make it usable by the general public without those requirements.
