Yeah ok, kind of missing the point. Put all the instructions and details needed for the questions you keep repeatedly answering in the original post where you update the links regularly. Then just stop responding to people asking for help unless they actually need it and provided the necessary details. Just my 2 cents. Would save you a lot of time.

Well if people do not want to say what they did, I cannot answer.

Someone had an issue; I used this software. Ok use this. Problem solved, that easy.
Many do not want to say what they did or what they used.

But people can Google and find this thread and make an account. But cannot Google how to install an add-on.
But when told how, they still do not read it.

But if you want a point. "I did this; it does not show what I can do"?
Ok do this and this; thanks, it works.

That's easy, but people want to keep secret what they did.

Hey thanks for the reply. I was just looked at the files and that was my initial confusion with the guides. However, I have figured it out and I used it in classic and Sod and I see it is working and that I have the guides 1-60.

I agree with this. Some instructions/FAQs and also stating no help will be given without the required info or something. You spend a needless amount of time replying to stuff you shouldn't. Save yourself some headaches.

So I FAQ that people wouldn’t even read. When quoted they still do not even read it.
It has one instruction extract to add-ons.
If it doesn’t work, then maybe people should use the right software. Because when asked what did they use they did not want to reply.
Like any installation, you remove all the old files first of anything. So if people don’t do that. There, maybe they should because they know they should.

Take a few seconds to Google how to install an add-on. But they weren’t the same thing posted here and not read it.

There are 2 versions of guides. One is restedxp and the other one is Zygor.
I simply download the version i want and drag and drop into folder "AddOns" of my game?

I think people are just stupid tbh. It also keeps this thread at the top and easy for more people to find.

There was instructions and did people read it? No
It was quoted and did people read it? No
They denied it was there and quoted it and did they read it? No

People act like their life depends upon the add-on.

Not hard to extract to a folder is there?
Not hard to delete all the files regarding the add-on. Like any time you uninstall something you take all the files out.
But people, for some reason, merge the new add-on with the old. Knowing you never do that, but they do anyway.
They do not delete the old files and expect it to work on the old files.
They use the wrong software and wonder why it doesn’t extract.


So two things.
If people cannot say what they did. I cannot answer.
If they do not delete all the files for it out on first and then install it. They shouldn’t be surprised it doesn’t work.

So if people cannot take a few seconds to look up what they want and get it in instant solution. They cannot blame others for their lack of action.

Also, people had it the easy way. Install add-on extract file I’ll give you to add-ons and overwrite.

People found out impossible to do so they wanted the hard way and that’s what they got. The installation now is exactly what they wanted and now they don’t like it.
