Im trying to figure out where to download RestedXP for wow forever expantion; i already downloaded from there the version for classic/tbc back in the days but cant figure out reading all the chats. Thanks for the all work you are doing for the community

When i goto the links i have a list of releases but not what the files actually are, am i doing something wrong? never had this problem before

So 1 is Labeled RXP, and the others are Zygor.

When i DL i see few type of releases and you just DL file for what version of game you are playing. At least for WOW.
Unfortunately you need to uncompress twice to get to file you need to put in WOW.

All addons for over 20 years have used the same installation and haven't changed.

Download, extract to addons.

So you extract the folder from my file, and then you claim you have to uncompress something that is not compressed?

It is extracted to addons. The same way as people have done for the past 22 years. I do not know why people are saying something different,

Why i said twice? I DL file directly.Might be diff with torrent files.First you get file named f2hzip which has rar file inside .You extract file from it and that file you copy into game folder in /addons. So f2hzip into rar into file-thats why i said twice. On my win they both show as "compressed archive folder".

Unfortunately you need to uncompress twice to get to file you need to put in WOW

Well you download it and extract it, that is 1 decompression.

Hold on, you download the .rar
I never put it in a zip and then a rar.

Or are you downloading it all, just for 1 file?

I select 1 file for wow retail and press DL selected.

No idea why is downloading like that.

People go to the link.
They select the file they want and use that link.
They download a .rar file and extract

Melbourne else had reported that it puts an archive in a zip file to download. But then again most people don’t say what they’ve done either.
