Why not? I raced on the original NFSW without any problem with my XP, it was all perfect. Why you don't want tell us how we could race on NFSW offline with XP? I love this game, and I would like to race again on this version beta offline, but I need your help and your indications for how I could install it with XP :)
I yet saw that PowerShell 3.0 does not work on XP, the maximum possible for XP is PowerShell 2.0.
I hope that you could help racers as me that have XP.
