Also Csremu got canceled (atleast by the original developers) due their lack of time. The only thing left to do is to pray that the new owners of the sourcecode KNOW WHAT THEY DO and will make it public. But i hardly doubt it.. that will probably never happen again :P

Csremu its years behind my first version of sea. Anyway csremu must be rewrited from the beginning, its cost too much time thats why developers quit. C++ language needs alot of time to code.

but wait !! you can`t break language code limits with vb6 !!

vb6 now the wrost language ever

Improving any program need to advance from stage to stage

i mean if u coded calculator on vb6 you need to advance it and create it on vb.net then C# then C then C++

if u coded the emu on C# or C++ you could handle 500 players on sucks pc

i think you understand what i mean

its true some operations are slow in vb6, but you can solve this problem by using classes and performance tips. Vb6 its slower than c++.
But time what its needed to code emu in vb6 its 10x shorter than to code it in c++. My vb6 code its much faster than normal because of my huge expirience.

I am coding in vb6 many years, i am coding in it because i know this language best and i just like it because its simple+ nice debug, forgive little mistakes etc and so on...Vb6 its just awesome.

I dont like c and c++ i was coding in it some years ago before i was starting my adventure with vb6. I think in vb6 i will able to handle 600-1000 peoples online its enought for me. Remember i am not proffesional developer or company, i am just normal person who want create emulator, chosing c++ language its good for professional app like photoshop, corel.

When you have team of proffesional coders with years of expirience with object programming in c++ + team of sniffers you can start think about emu in this language. But you will never collect that peoples because they have good jobs and they wont waste time for free(they earn easily 200e per day).

i agree with you that programmers can earn 200e per day easily


but, if you arranged with good team to improve the emu you could really break language limits but face it you can`t handle 500-100 players with vb6

vb6 very basic as you can`t handle with it more than 300 player

you saw csremu source code ?? (1 person only worked on it)

but if, you worked with any 1 then you will break the language limits

But csremu doesn't have stability. And first find the team of programmers to do emu in c++ or another language. Pax makes his emu in vb6, because he knows it the best, if you know the language then you can make a lot of things. In vb6 you can get the same effect with less code than c++. Of course c++ better, but you must do it in a team, but in sro community nobody will do it with another person. Pax with npcdoom, eckoro or jmerlin. It's impossible. Another person expect pax, only talk about that vb6 is stupid, but what can they make ? Jmerlin can only do gpl. Npcdoom with eckoro can do closed beta and they working alone. Maybe in future in sro community will people who want to work with another people, then all will get emu for free. But i don't think so.

Csremu was bugged basic relased by jmerlin +packets and functions added by shadowz75 with help other persons. Basically its piece of shit...He dont even started thinking about position calculation, day and night sync and more. Csremu its made only for fun, you cant fix it to work like real server.

You must invest 3 more years in csremu to make it to work like my current version of sse(you must start from almost 0 with csremu).

my emu is currently able to handle 400 players.
I was relase much open sorce code and i receive monkey pictures for this so i dont feel mission to work for free...
