The main things I need to see are your name and the photo on the ID, you can cover everything else up with your hand or a piece of paper, or something else of your choice. Your name shouldn't be an issue since it's something readily given to sellers online when purchases are made (for example: Amazon or eBay) and in most countries it's readily available and can't be used for anything weird.
You can also add a watermark over your image to say "only to be used by proofcore.io on March 29 2022" for example. I
do not need to see your address or any unique numbers from your ID or anything like that.
I want to reiterate that I personally do this myself and I guarantee that it's handled with privacy, confidentiality and security in mind and can be permanently deleted once you're done.
