Patch Highlights:
Socket NPC (better rates).
MagicArtisan Fixed.
ProficiencyGod added.
SurgeonMiracle added (VIP only).
Birdmen Increased.
Second DBDevil spawn added.
(MISC) - GarmentTokens are now tradeable. Some optimization server side.
Socket NPC:
A second ArtisanWind has been added in TwinCity to improve upon the current server rates for creating sockets.
Simply choose which method (random or specific) that you would to use. Pay the man a met and cross your fingers. Obviously random sockets have slightly better rates than specific so choose wisely!
MagicArtisan Fixed:
The MagicArtisan should now be showing the correct amount of mets/dbs required to upgrade your items! (yay!)
ProficiencyGod:
As per player feedback, Ganoderma / Titan now drop ProficiencyTokens instead of ExpPotions. You can trade 1 to the ProfGod to upgrade a level of prof. After level 8 it will cost 2 per level (max level 12).
SurgeonMiracle:
SurgeonMiracle has been added to the VIP room. He will give your character free size changes as many times as you like!
Birdmen Increase:
Self explanitory.. Player feedback demanded a bigger birdman spawn! ASK and you shall receive ! :)
2nd DBDevil:
Due to the community growth, a second (random) DBdevil spawn has been added. Can you find it ?

Mainenance will be at approximately 12pm tomorrow (midday) and last for about 5-10 minutes.
There will be a small patch to download.
Hope y'all enjoy it :)
So... I don't wanna complain or anything but I'm just very confused as to why you have it coded this way... is it just because binaries are sorta limited with how you run things?Quote:

Level Requirement - Fixed FB/SS.
Maint - 21/01/2012 - 1-2PM.
Any level or class may sign up to the arena. The only requirement is that you have FB or SS.
If you wish to participate, remove and store your ring safely - then proceed to the ArenaGuard (PK Arena). Once you sign up you will be sent to a waiting room with an announcement that you're waiting for a challenge.
Once someone accepts your challenge, you will have 20 seconds to equip the Arena items in your inventory.
When the match begins whoever hits the other 10 times first- will emerge the champion. Afterwards you will be sent into the final waiting room, where you can sit, chat or re-enter the challenge room.
You cannot leave the FB/SS arena unless you give the arena items back.
You MUST wear the items at all times whilst fighting or the round will end abruptly. Also if one participant disconnects, you the round will end.
Currently there is only space for 2 people to fight at one particular time, so you must be quick to enter once their round ends if you wish to participate. If this concept proves popular I will add more rooms.
Finally, it is for fun. There are no rewards, this is simply so that you can play with your friends (whether your level 70 or level 130 - your gear is irrelevant.)
Hope you enjoy it & please, if you have any feedback or ways at which I might improve on it please let me know. :)
Yah I assumed. I was just curious as it seemed such a round about way. Then I remembered it was bins :PQuote:
Binaries are limited, there's a set number of action types, TQ of course could hard code the handling for new ones if they wanted to, we cant. So this is how it has to be done, and i can assure you this is like as best as we can get it :p
You cant for example prevent gear changes in maps, at least we've yet to find an action type to prevent such a thing.
We are still working on the new source although we are very busy with work and university so we've slowed down slightly recently, I've also got a side project I'm working on for the server.
Pretty much everything we do on bins is a 'work around' unfortunately due to its limitations. :PQuote:

Just cause confused as to why you wouldn't do dynamic maps for rounds and simply not let people change gear while in event (rather then kicking them out of event if they swap during fights).
Either way, awesome work from what I've seen with all the changes.
Any word on when the new source is up for testing? Cause I can't wait to see the insane stuff you guys work up with that.
He's no longer a moderator.Quote:
No offense Korv, you can delete this post after you read it but why don't you take care of your own server thread's bumps. You allow other people to bump the thread. I could've done the same to my own thread but I preffered not to post anymore and get out of epvp but I really don't see any piece of fairness in here since other people can bump for your thread.
Now you can delete it :) Thanks for reading.
