by any chance, did u select "disable everything"
anyhow, if u want to give up, just use this Mapitemicon.ani
and put it in the \Conquer 2.0\ani\ folder

@evanxxxm: Yes i have used your program several times, but still it would be possible for it to get the existing file from the conquer installation folder, change what's needed and save the modified file. Wopuldn't it be a permament solution that is patch-proof and will work with all future updates? Cause now we have a great tool that replaces existing file with an old instance (5016?)

yes it is using the ani file inside the co folder right now
which it is patch-proof...all u need to do is just run the program when there is a patch

ok let me just explain what the program does:
1. read the current ANI file inside ur co folder
2. replace all the dds link with test.dds if the ID starts with 6],7],8],9] (depends on how u select)
3. create a new ani file on desktop with the test dds
4. then display the MSGBOX instruction to put what in what

And thats what i was asking about, me is surprised :)

One last thing, could it possibly be updated to put the files already in the CO folder in the right places?
03/22/2008 09:57 evanxxxm#221
tablo@
that will be quite dangerous
it will involve delete files, and create files (if error, if replace wrong, if no backup..etc)
but in dds files case, its only creating, so when u first run this program, it automatically create those files in the right folder already

besides, once u get used it once or twice, i am sure u know how to use already
it wont take more than 2mins

no danger - no fun

but why not rename the files instead of deleting them to [filename].bckp ?
03/22/2008 11:38 evanxxxm#223
tablo@
because AHK functions can not rename files lol
the way they usually do it is:
read file, copy and paste content to a new created file
"thats what they call rename"

Thx it works fine :)
