DR has lots of custom stuff which aren't only in media.pk2 so you have to DL the whole client anyways.

I've been playing SRO for about 6 years now with most of that time on iSRO. Private servers never really did it for me, there was never enough balance (too easy), or it was P2W, power hungry GM's, lack of GMs, etc. But DemonRoad is different, its definitely worth a try. Here are some pro's and con's.

Pro's:

- Active friendly English speaking player base.
- Server has been around for a long time. Very reasonable and professional SysAdmin.
- Active GM's, friendly and somewhat professional.
- GM's are not power hungry.
- Leveling isn't hard or too easy, not boring.
- Daily events, they aren't boring either. Event for everyone, PVP or Unique spawning etc.
- With effort you can get a decent set, with hard work you can get a great set.
- You can bot, and the server is not populated with mostly botters.
- Only private server with a Wikia page.

Cons:
- GM spams the global chat sometimes.
- The directions are not clear on all events.
- Wikia needs to be updated/ more informational etc. Example: I could not find Movoi's for Euro inventory expansion because GM moved them to JG cave entrance. I had to ask someone for directions.
- GM does not promote job events as much as other events.
- The economy of the server is not noob friendly. Takes some time to figure out.

Overall I would rate the server a 8/10, losing on 2 points because although it has a lot of features, it isn't exactly clear for new players. I will update the list's as time goes on, but I think SRO fans should give it a try.

Totally Agree. :) Btw: Movoi's Moved to Near Jangan cave entrance there spawns all inventory quest mobs :)
